Emme Core Installation
Emme Core is Designed to Work With Most HVAC Systems and Can be Installed in an Hour or Two by an HVAC Professional
Emme Core consists of two components: the Emme Core touch-screen display and the Emme Interface Panel (EIP). Emme Core is designed to be easily installed into any home that has forced air heating and cooling. It makes use of the existing thermostat wiring to connect to your heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
Before Emme Installation
A typical home has a thermostat (1) connected by a four-wire thermostat cable (2) to the HVAC equipment (3). The thermostat cable runs within the walls and sends commands to your HVAC equipment. The commands turn your HVAC equipment on and off.
After Emme Installation
The Emme Core touch-screen display replaces your existing thermostat (1). It connects to the existing thermostat cable (2) but instead of connecting directly to your HVAC equipment it connects to the Emme Core Equipment Interface Panel (EIP) (3). The Emme Core EIP is installed next to your air handler, which is part of your HVAC system (4). The Emme Core EIP connects to your HVAC equipment, activating various functions when needed. Emme Core can connect to the internet wirelessly through your Wi-Fi router (5).
