Jon Brodeur
Chief Executive Officer
Jon Brodeur has 25 years of experience in a variety of industries and functional areas. He began his career working as a CPA in the “Big Eight Firm” of Ernst and Whinney (now known as Ernst and Young) for 2 ½ years and was then hired into a Fortune 200 Company (Black & Decker/Emhart) where he spent five years implementing and training in World Class Manufacturing techniques.
He then moved on to work in the Big Six Consulting Firm of KPMG Peat Marwick on Information Technology related consulting projects for five years until a Manufacturing Client of 450 employees (CSSC) hired him to serve as their Chief Operating Officer.
For the past 11 years, he has held many senior level positions in the Sales, Marketing and Presidential positions in the Retail and Internet Service Verticals, and has played a significant Executive Management Team role in aggressively growing three early stage/emerging Companies (Surplus Direct, @Once, DS Retail Technologies/ShopLocal).
Jon has served on 7 corporate boards during his career. Jon received a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Jeff Block
Controller
Jeff Block has 20 years of experience in the growth and management in a wide breadth of organizations from start-ups to midsize business ventures. Jeff has been instrumental in developing and implementing “out of the box” solutions that have kept organizations proactive rather than reactive to their environment.
He was the founder and managing partner of blockbyblock, llc, a successful management consulting firm in New Haven, Connecticut. His firm works to increase a company’s value through the implementation of financial education, team building, proactive metrics and financial controls that guide the business’s strategy.
Jeff was a mentor at Yale’s Entrepreneurial Institute working with two start-ups - The Green Bride and YouRenew - which are creating jobs in New Haven. He is also lecturing and mentoring through The University of New Haven’s Small Business program to create sustainable businesses in New Haven’s West River Community.
As the CFO of Harmonics Holdings, Inc., a CT Fast 50 and Forbes 500 award winning company, Jeff was responsible for the successful merger of the predecessor organizations, allowing Harmonics Holdings to raise venture capital in one of the most tumultuous times in recent history. Harmonics was one of the few companies that closed a deal - which was on the table on September 11, 2001 - without a re-pricing or significant alteration in terms.

Dave Schiopucie
Director of Engineering
Dave has over 30 years of experience in the development and management of high tech product and system design, with substantial experience in helping growing, entrepreneurial companies. Through this experience Dave has acquired a mix of hands-on high tech design skills, managerial skills, and a strong knowledge of company operations, with a thorough understanding of system design, hardware design, software design, and mechanical design.
Dave was a co-founder and partner of Hardware Software Solutions, LLC, a successful contract engineering firm developing high-tech products and systems for wide range of customers spanning the military, commercial and consumer markets. Prior to this, Dave has held the positions of Vice President or Director of Engineering for a number of successful companies.
Dave has a BSEE/CS from the University of Connecticut School of Engineering.
